COUNSELLING

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS

The care you give yourself is reflected in your capacity to be with what comes your way. We know there’s a whole lot of stuff we can’t control… and we also know that we can control our responses to that stuff.

Counselling helps us refine that capacity – to choose how we respond.

How can it help?

Marg works with you using Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). This is a non-pathologising form of counselling or therapy which supports you to connect with parts of yourself with great care. It is founded on the belief that you know the way to more confident, kind and clear ways of being with yourself and facing life. Marg simply guides you to where you know you need to be.

You are supported to enter a sphere of safety to explore your life - what gives you meaning, what seeks resolution, what seeks expression, what can you give to yourself in order to live the life you want to live?

Counselling can help a client through:

  • Life changes

  • Grief + Loss

  • A traumatic event

  • Life threatening illness

  • Confusion, Depression, Anxiety

  • Caring for someone with an illness or disability

  • Loss of confidence

  • Parenting
